Hello GSST family! We have a busy and exciting few weeks ahead. Here is all the important information you need to know. 

ACTION REQUIRED: USA Swimming Deadline - Nov. 13th 

A reminder to all families: your swimmer must be registered with USA Swimming by Thursday, November 13th in order to participate in swim practice as well as our upcoming swim meet on November 21st. 

Upcoming Events 

No Practice: Tuesday, November 11th A reminder that there will be no practice on Tuesday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day.

Team Pictures: Thursday, November 20th Get your smiles ready! Team pictures will be on Thursday, Nov. 20th. Swimmers should come at their normal practice time. Please note: This day will be for pictures only; there will be no practice. 

Home Meet: Friday, November 21st We are excited to host our intra-squad home meet!

• When: Friday, Nov. 21st, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Warmups: Warmups will begin at 4:15 PM.

We are looking for parent volunteers to help make our November 21st meet a success! From timers to runners, every role is important. If you are interested in helping, please reach out to the coaching staff. 

Save the Date: December 13th Mark your calendars! We are planning another home meet on Saturday, December 13th, and will be inviting a couple of other local teams to compete. More details to come! 

Team News & Reminders

• Team Gear Update: Our new team swimsuits, caps, and shirts are on their way! They should hopefully be here before our first swim meet. We will let you know as soon as they arrive and begin handing them out.
• Safety (Sauna Policy): This is an important reminder for all parents and swimmers. The saunas are strictly for individuals 18 and up. For safety and liability reasons, children are not allowed to enter the saunas at any time, even if they are escorted by a parent. We appreciate your cooperation.
