Day of
1. Arrival (15-20 minutes before scheduled warm-up). When you arrive at the pool, look for coaches and family/swimmers in team attire. This will be our designated team area.
2. Swimmer & Volunteer Check-in
The coaches will lead the swimmers through warm-up routine in designated lanes. It is important for swimmers to participate, as this helps prevent injury and prepares their muscles for racing.
4. Racing
Listen for the announcer to call events to the starting blocks. It is the swimmer's responsibility to get to their lane on time. After each race, swimmers should go directly to a coach to get feedback on their performance. Then, it's time to go back to the team area, rest, refuel, and get ready for the next race!
